I like this quote a lot from Tony Robbins because I personally feel like that a lot of people in their life hold back from things they want to do because they are "too afraid" to go in the real world alone or they have fears of something so they are not going to do something. This leads to so many people passing up so many opportunities that they could have had if they weren't so afraid all the time and would've just done what they wanted to do instead of someone else. So many people you could've met or so many people you could have talked to and let them inspire you. That is my opinion that many people let their fears get in the way of everything and that shouldn't be a thing.

Randall S. Hanson wrote this article and he wrote this directing towards high school students as you can see. His idea in this article was to target 10 key points that us students should remember as our futures are ahead of us and some big decisions we are going to be making in the upcoming years for some maybe months for others. Randall points out key points such as you need to know what your dreams are and that is what you really want to do before you pursue the career of it. This is important because you can’t wake up every day of your life hating your job and trust me, I know some people who did that to themselves. Most importantly though you do not want to spend all that college education and that precious schooling and brain on something you actually don’t care about. “Challenge yourself but don’t overwhelm yourself” this is another great point by him, this is awesome because in the real world you need to know your limits and you need to know when people can‘t push you anymore. Another one by Randall was “Get as much education as you possibly can” This is important to this article and to me personally because free education is the only free education you get now, so why not use it the full advantage? Also by getting this mass amount of education you then realize what subjects are your strong points and what some weaknesses you may have are. Now these may be a few key points from this article but they are definatly the most important to me.
This blog (http://persuasive.net/) talks about how to not be so fearless so much and i think that will play a large deal in my life, going into the army and moving to Hawaii seems to me like such a big fearless task if it doesn't to you. Being fearless has a few steps that goes along with it this bog says some very good advice for this such as, identifying your fears, telling someone them, seeing a therapist and even knowing how to relax sometimes. I hope that in my life to come I learn to be fearless and not let anybody or anything stand in my way and sometimes going for the worse case scenario situations because those are the situations that force us to grow the most.
This next blog is called "10 keys to setting and achieving big goals" everyone has goals and everyone has to accomplish something in their life or wishes to. Goals are a big part of my life because i love to feel the feeling of accomplishment whether it be a small goal or a rather large one. Goals are a huge part of life when you grow up because they you have to have a plan and a place you see yourself in the future so you can be successful. (http://www.littlethingsmatter.com/blog/2016/01/26/10-keys-to-setting-and-achieving-big-goals/) Three words on Coach Wooden's pyramid of success that are very important to me are loyalty, team spirit, and self-control. The first most important one to me is loyalty because without loyalty ultimately you really don't have anything, you know? Loyalty means more to me than just "always being faithful". It means always having someones back when they need it the most, loyalty means being confident and honest all the time because we don't have loyalty if there is no honesty. My second favorite word would be self-control because most people in this world now a days just don't have it, simple enough. Self-control means having control over your actions whether they are ethical or not. What you do is your actions and nobody eles'. Lastly there is team spirit, now this one pops more out at me because being on a team really affects that. Having team spirit isn't wearing the team colors to the game or rooting for them, team spirit means having faith in your team when they are losing and being there and encouraging for better for your team. Now team spirit can also be played not on the court but rather in an everyday life for someone, it may be family related or it may be friends no matter what it may be all three of these words can be played in an everyday life.
This video talks about how we are such a messed up generation because we have excuses for everything, going to college and getting a degree has nothing to do with the fact that whether or not after college you will actually find a job. He asks in this video a lot about "what is your excuse?" and honestly I could think of the one that sets us back from most of our goals, that is "I don't want to do it" and it is so simple yet there is such a big meaning to that sentence because almost everyone says it. I have always had the dream of living in Hawaii, (yes, almost everyone does) I had such a big passion for this place though, this place i sincerely wanted to call "home" in my future. My mom laughed, my grama supported, and my sister, she started asking questions "where are you going to stay?, how much is a plane ticket? etc..." That is when i started researching, how could i actually do this? and how could i prove all these people wrong that laughed, doubted, and didn't ever think I was serious. As I am sitting here today,I can honestly say I am going to be living in Hawaii, i am moving there in late June and I am staying for 5 months and that is how i never let the excuse "I don't want to" get in my way of living the biggest dream of my life.
1.) Getting all A's- My goal to get all A's is still a huge goal for me, I Have all A's right now and 1 C, but I know the reason for this and that can easily be changed into an A very soon!
2.) I would like to get into a healthier lifestyle- This goal has honestly been a little harder for me than the other ones, I see myself sitting on the couch not doing much anymore. 3.)I would like to travel a lot- this goal is very important to me, I am this weekend going to Chicago and I also have my entire Hawaii "vacation volunteer" thing set up for 5 months starting this summer! 4.) I want to grow stronger bonds with friends- I would like to still punish myself to do this more also this goal isn't really have an end, to me there is always room to grow for this one, There is always a stronger bond you can get. 5.) I want to know some ideas of careers i have in mind- I still am 100% lost on this one because I have no idea what I want to do. This quote has so much meaning to it, we all know the famous "I have a dream" quote but we don't know really any other quotes from Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. This quote to me spoke out that, we see someone's true skin by the way they act when they are put into a tough setting. Everyone can act a certain way when nothing is wrong with them but rather we truly measure a man by "where he stands at times of challenge and controversy".
Winning the powerball lottery at 1.3 billion dollars would obviously be everyone's dream but what everyone would do with the money is all something different, it may be quit my job, it may be travel the world, it may be save it or even donate to a charity. What would I do with 1.3 billion dollars? Now half of me is like, "you really wanna save that money and you'll never have to worry about cutting it close on bills ever again" and the other half of me is like "quit your job and go travel for the rest of your life" Now knowing me realistically first hand I would buy a plane ticket to Bora Bora and I would stay at 4 seasons hotel and I would never leave until my money is all out. I would also donate money to research for cancer and I would also donate to end world hunger. I would buy a ticket to see my sister in new york and then plan out her whole wedding and pay for it all (which she wants to have at Disney) I would buy my mom a new house and I would most definatly buy and help out the city of Detroit.
This video was about a 14 year old boy who was very interested in stock, he started when he was young and then continued to save since he was a younger kid. His mother was also interested in stocks when she was a younger girl so that is what sparked his interest and she influenced him to save. By the time he turned 14 he had saved 50 thousand dollars and his bank account continues to grow over time. If i was to know about this when I was young i would have totally saved also like why not?
As the New Year comes around, losing 10 pounds, finding love or maybe traveling, these are all things that can be done at any time of the year yet most people wait until January 1st. Why? Because a new begging comes with a new mind set, maybe you had a great start to 2015 but as the year went on it started to drag and by March or April all those " resolutions" are now just what a goal used to be. Now why don't people stick to their resolutions? I saw this vlog and this very wise public speaker said "The things in life that you want but they are "too hard", you have mentally conditioned yourself that your life is OK or content without it, and this is how we lose the drive and desire to get it done." This is probably one of the most true things I ever heard, it was something that spoke to me a bit because this year my resolution was to save money so I can travel as much as i want and explore all the amazing places out there that this world has to offer.
