This week I have expanded my knowledge a lot more, I have learned to work more as a team I would say this week. It was rather busy and there was a lot of things to get done and there was many occasions I had to work with/as a team. I Learned how to use the Fluidotherapy machine, it has corn husks flakes in it. The machine warms up the corn husks by blowing them around and the patient will have their whole arm in the machine. The patient will then (by doctors orders) kind of squeeze the corn husks to create a therapeutic feeling for the patient and it will also allow them to loosen up their muscles and have more mobility for when the doctor wants to do some exercises with their hand or wrist. This machine is very cool because I personally have watched patients grow stronger and better with the help from this machine. Before using the machine patients have to wash their hands, that is how it is kept sanitary. (This is not my picture but this is the same machine we have)
